Redup are going to meet Sir Alan Sugar!
Yes, you did read that right! We're thrilled to announce that the North East Chamber of Commerce (NECC) have invited us along to an Apprenticeship Seminar for Employers being held by Sir Alan Sugar in March. The invite came about through our young apprentice, Ben Cooper. His advisor, Leanne Tully had asked if we could attend with the NECC with a view to meeting Sir Alan to discuss the benefit and progress of Ben's work at Redup as an apprentice.
Sir Alan Sugar is currently fronting a national apprenticeship campaign to increase awareness among employers and young people. His seminar in Gateshead is the third stop on a four date tour of the UK and is designed to promote the benefits of hiring young people as apprentices. The seminar will close with a questions and answers session with Sir Alan... if there is anything you'd like to ask, let us know!
